The interview is forty minutes long and the brief was written last night. It says who the clips are for, what they should sound like, and the one sentence the creator never wants cut. By the time the kettle boils the crew has pulled three vertical clips with captions. The creator rewrites one caption, rejects another clip, and writes down why. Tomorrow's brief starts from that note.
